Just a thought..check the torque of the action bolts. Should be somewhere from 35 to 40 foot lbs. Start at 35 and work up. That can make a big difference.

Be sure to get a torqe wrench and play with your torque settings of the stock bolts and see what foot lbs your rifle likes. Mine likes 35 foot lbs. At 37 my group grew about 3/4 in. So it makes a difference. As far as reloading goes youtube and books. Its not hard to get started and will cost u about 400 give or take.

If your buying factory hunting ammo i suggest nosler trophey accubonds. Fairly consistant loads with a good bullet. At $2.00 a shell for good factory hunting rounds your crazy not to reload. It costs me .84 cents a round to make far more consistant rounds than the best factory hunting loads.

First time on range with it yesterday.. stock rides the bags great and after some tweeking of my stock screw torques i maneged to get .50 in at 100. Felt recoil was lower now its just a push back instead of a thump. new stock took 1/4 in off my group im thrilled with it.

I did some work on my factory mag and im oal of 2.88 inches or 2.204 from the ogive, useing 175 berger hunting vlds and getting .50 at 100. Im still .48 off the lands but i cant complain with a half inch group.

What kind of mag system are you useing? Im shooting berger bullets cause i cant get my ogive to the lands so im curious how others are handling this issue with reloads.
