There would be no cost difference. The only thing these rails would not need is the dye tank.
Here's a picture of the rail on a stainless action. There is a distinct difference. What do you think?

Sir Ville
Those look like some sweet suppressors! Here in the states they have such a sigma, we've only recently had a surge in technological advances. Thank you Obama! Greatest gun salesman ever!

You could try bedding the rifle two inches forward of the receiver. This should deaden some of those harmonics. It won't fix it, but might help a bit.

An interesting side note – Raw, Type 3 anodized aluminum is actually stronger when it is not dyed. The dye actually weakens the oxide build up slightly.
These would be more durable than our black ones!

I can do that tomorrow. There's only 180 more rails to anodize ::)

At this point they are testing the market. There are rumors of a TRG in 6.5CM as well… but they wouldn't let me throw a couple in the pot with the CTRs.
There are quite a few T3x's stateside waiting for the 5/29 launch. It was just the 6.5CMs that were delayed.
I was shipped one early so I could do a review and test fit product. So far, everything fits perfectly. The changes in the rifle system minor, but welcome.

Land Surfer,
We have the full low down. Call the shop at 406-285-2371 and we can get your CTR in 260 for you. Last I checked, we had them in the warehouse as an early release gift from Beretta.
The 9.3 is a different best. Beretta asked me today what 3 calibers our customers wished they imported and that was first on the list!

Hey Ziggy,
Send that back to the shop. I'll test it and see what the problem is. They've been bombproof but like anything, there is always one that can slip through the cracks.

Hi drdirt,
My Beretta rep told me yesterday that these did not make it on the boat for the 5/29 launch so July is the new drop date.
As I learn more I'll keep everyone posted.

Ballistically, the two rounds are virtually identical. The advantage for a reloader is the ability to tune the rounds. The case is shorter on the CM giving you more room to play with seating depth.
Great question!
