    This was covered in the group buy thread.  Beretta pays a fee for each model imported, so they don't import ones for which they don't expect high demand.  But if you choose to believe it's a nefarious plan to deny us certain models, then roll with it.

    Huh,  I am very familiar with SWFA,  before posting here I was reading up on stuff there.  I also bought a Swarovski from their samplelist ages ago.  I have been noting all the glowing reviews of the SS scopes also.

    I never considered them for rings, I will have to look into that.

    If this is a cold bore issue as hypothesized, how about shooting a couple cheap rounds first to warm up the barrel, then switching to your handloads/match ammo for practice?

    Another way to tame recoil is a mercury recoil reducer.  This is a 3-4 inch long tube mounted in the stock.  They work well.  I have one on my Benelli Nova and there was a noticeable difference with it in.
