Super Varmint 223
Posted by NYSport on October 9, 2015 at 12:58 amHi guys, New to the forum so this may be the height of wishful thinking. But is there any chance of finding a T3 Super Varmint 223 in the U.S.?

I don´t know about the US market but if they don´t sell it there it´s stupid. Why wouldn´t they BTW ??

I agree they should but it doesn't seem like they are available.

Beretta USA only imports a portion of the Tikka line, unfortunately. They don't seem to have much drive to make happy customers.

I'm not sure what the reasoning would be? I mean they already build the it and there shouldn't be any import issues, it's a straightforward rifle.

Prolly want us to buy the more expensive Sako or Baretta's own rifles. Who knows. The real irritating part is there doesn't seem to be any way of getting around it.

This was covered in the group buy thread. Beretta pays a fee for each model imported, so they don't import ones for which they don't expect high demand. But if you choose to believe it's a nefarious plan to deny us certain models, then roll with it.

Bud's lists the Super Varmint, but shows them “out of stock.” Never knew that they weren't being imported. I bought the “regular” Tikka Varmint and can't imagine that the Super version could group a lot better than my “regular” Varmint. 8)
