I have several monolithic bullies on hand and if you hit the shoulder you are good.
I have a friend that does not agree and he has had more than one elk pencil through.he uses a 338 mag and prefers the nosler accubond.  I have no basis for disagreeing with him

I should post that there is a sale on 6.5 creedmoor hunting ammo.  Federal fusion 6.5 creedmoor is available for rebate to the tune of $5 per box. I’m planning to sight my new savage with this ammo and will post results here
I bought 200 rounds from a sight on ammo seek

    Hey David
Your post is the ultimate reply, 6.5 creedmoor vs 260  is all about Precision and if your 260 hits better then I bow to that gun and that load!

I don’t know if Tikka rings are currently the best.  I’m thinking you should buy new rings similar to SWFA or other good quality rings.

I’m not cleare that any issue has been solved or addressed.
Let’s acknowledge that AU shipping is tricky.
David Waters is known to be honorable.(my experience)
Any concerns with his business model should be tested and compared with other AU vendors.
What else can I or others make judgement on?
I will do business with David Waters again.

Ok let’s just agree to disagree
If there is a political aspect to Tikka rifles I don’t know it.
I will not try to understand the finlander’s perspective of rifle performance other than it seems to make our understanding of “good “ a bit lacking.

I don’t know how ‘this thread got into American politics but let’s get back to to the issue.
    Namely David waters magazines.
I know for a fact that he provides long and short action magazines that perform well with Tikka rifles.
I know that there are issues regarding shipping from AU.  Please do not create problems for this excellent guy.  If you have a problem with his businesses model, Please understand that that he has to jump through a lot of hoops to provide magazines to us.

If you have a shipping problem then call or email him.  I know for a fact that Montana Dan did not pursue a personal response and was dealing with David Waters like he was an Amazon functionary.  This is not how business can be done when dealing with the AU govt.
please don’t let this guy shut down our options to deal with David Waters.
    Dan, you are hurting us
Let me know if you have a problem and I will forward your concerns.

    Dude, (Montana Dan)
I am a fan of David Waters and know he is a fan of US shooting sports and spends lots of personal coin to compete here in the Us.

Is there any way we can work out your issues?

9/16×24 is what I had my Tikka Hunter 30-06 threaded – it’s a slender barrel and any Smith that recommends it is looking out for you.  I bought an adapter to my Dakota silencer 30 cal so I can remove the brake and use my suppressor.
Btw I had Jason at mountain tac do the work and I can’t tell where the brake starts and the barrel ends..

Ok I don’t know Montana Dan
but I do know David Waters, both by reputation and by personal dealings.  David Waters is a competitive shooter and a very good designer who, as an Australian has worked hard to promote shooting sports in his country and suffered crazy persecution for innocuous and imagined issues.  Look his name up on google. He got fired from Goodyear for meeting a fellow shooter in the parking lot. No exchange, no nothing, just an informer that had nothing to inform.

Montana Dan needs a lot more bonafides before I take his word for anything.
I have personally bought at least 6 or more magazines from David Waters and the evaluation is that all of them work well.
Yes there is some international nonsense regarding shipping and PayPal but please don’t hurt David Waters or the Aussie name based on one bad review.  I have communicated with David, and there it more to the story.
I place my rep on David Waters side
    Take care guys
    -Eric
