Where is sling swivel stub on fore end on Tac A1
Hi Friends,
I just bought a Tikka T3X Tac A1. The manual says “All Tikka models are equipped with standard sling swivel studs under the fore end and butt stock. “. I only found the sling swivel studs on butt stock and the position near bolt. I didn't find any sling swivel studs under the fore end.
Should I install the stud by my own? Or there is something wrong with my Tac A1?
If I need to install it. How? -

I believe Sako is providing a generic T3x manual for the A1. The A1 employs quick-detach swivel mounts on the stock and the accessory M-LOK quick-detach swivel mount for the handguard. You have to purchase a M-LOK swivel stud or picatinny rail mount for bipods. Here is a compromise – GrovTec Bipod Stud Mount M-Lok
