Wanting to build a Left-Hand 6.5mm Creedmoor out of Tikka action
Posted by Land_Surfer on October 5, 2014 at 5:21 pmWhich Tikka T3 caliber action would be the best choice to build a 6.5mm Creedmoor out of? Thanks

Wouldn't matter much- anything with a 308 family bolt face would work (243,270,7-08,280,308,30-06 to name a few). If you're building from a short action you'd want to modify the bolt stop, too. Or you can have us build it for you at Mountain Tactical 🙂 we like building rifles!

I don't know much about the creedmoor other than its a record maker, but i love the 6.5 caliber, if i could afford it i would have a 6.5×55 Tikka Sporter (ideally Ackley style improved).
Get one of the Tikka -familiar gunsmiths mentioned on this site to do the work. Tikka- unfamiliar smiths seem to make mistakes…
