Very impressed with my new 6.5 creedmoor
Posted by jjw4413 on March 9, 2019 at 10:33 pmWinter weather finally gave me a break and allowed me to use my new 6.5 creedmoor with Hornaday ELD-X 143 ammo. Fired 3 rounds at 100 yards with a grouping the size of a half dollar. Only modification was the addition of a metal trigger gaurd and a adjustmant to 1.5 on the factory trigger. Very impressed with the performance so far.

Just finished my 6mm Creedmoor build (A T3X SS action) Krieger HV barrel (28”) in 1/7” twist and it shows great promise with 105 ELD although not even broken in yet 😉
Will test some 105 Scenars and 105 Berger VLD’s in a very near future and work up some great loads while at it.
A nice caliber to shoot. Since it’s one heavy bugger there’s no recoil. Less than a 223 with a muzzle break attached … 🙂 🙂 🙂 -

I haven't got to shoot the 6.5 Creedmoor left hand Tikka I bought I bought for the Wifey yet but I'm betting it won't surprise me and turns in stellar accuracy, I have it in a couple of other rifles and you can't beat the 6.5 with one of my rifles giving .5 inch groups..
