Tikka T3X Lite with Spuhr Hunter One Piece Mount
Looking for feedback on the Spuhr Unimount.

Was thinking of putting one on my T3X but have not been able to find any decent writeups or info from the net on the Tikka specific application.
Thoughts and opinions are welcome.

I have a Spuhr mount on one of my rifles ( not a Tikka ) on the rest I have tier 1 there both top of the line , if I had the £/$ and was buying again I’d go Spuhr , don’t get me wrong tier 1 are excellent and the reason why I started with them is because I live 3 miles from there factory and can get them discounted lol , I’ve switched to Spuhr because they did a cantilever mount and tier 1 at the time didn’t and Spuhr overall has more variations

I’m not certain spur mounts are worth the money. I am certain they are very good but $250 for rings? What is going wrong with your rings that makes this price worth it? I’m honestly asking
I would ask with what are you measuring performance? -
The quality of the manufacturing is as good has it gets , no need to horn them to aline them , return to zero , can be used on any caliber rifle even 50 cal /C/ytac’s ,

Need holding off for a bit but went ahead and ordered the SCT-3001 mount for my tikka T3x. Considering using one scope for a few different rifles. My main goal is just to get one hell of a mount that I never have to worry about and frankly am sick of lapping rings. I’ll throw a little review on here when it arrives and I have the chance to mount it and test it out. Considering trying To move one scope back and forth from two different rifles and see how that works as well.

Ok I have 8 tikkas and 6 scopes (I have more but these are best)

Get a good scope for a good rifle and you are golden -
Spuhr is for sure premium, and the wedge makes it easy to mount the scope level if you choose those mounts.
But, I am honestly a Recknagel Fan, can’t beat a Era Tac, They usually a bit cheaper, except the adjustable ones, and yes they really work.
On the other hand, a American Defense will do 100% for sure. I wouldn’t pay the premium for Spuhr / Era Tac if you not go either .338 or higher or doing something serious like invade a country or compete in shooting for a living.
