TIKKA T3x Compact Review
I recently purchased a Tikka T3x Compact chambered in .223 my criteria was an inexpensive, tight shooting small caliber bolt action rifle. The T3x fit all of the above. After receiving the rifle my first impression was what an ugly receiver, nonetheless it grew on me. I did experiment with a desert dig-camo paint job that, well didn’t come out that nice.
For an optic and a mount, I had an extra Schmidt Bender 12-50×56 PM II with a P4 Fine reticle and attached to the rifle by a Spuhr mount. I gave Lonnie Cribb at Superior Ammunition a call to load up some ammo for the rifle. I’m glad I did contact Lonnie because the end product was 0.26” three shot groups at 100 yards!
All in all, the Tikka T3x Compact is worth every penny and plus some for the performance it gives the shooter.
