Tikka Roughtech Ember
Really like the Roughtech Ember on the Tikka website, but they seem to be non-existent in the US. Seeing them in AU, etc. Anyone have any information on why they are not here, if they are coming & possibly when? 3 Tikkas in the family, ready to add number 4.

I am going to try and answer your question as to my experience trying to find out why the Ember is not in the U.S. yet.
I have always heard that Tikka rifles are very good rifles, but never have liked any of their models to buy, until I seen the Tikka Ember on the internet. This gun has everything I am looking for and what to buy one. I found none in the U.S. but seen they were for sale in Canada and in the U.K. etc. I tried to get ahold of the importer in the U.S. For tikka rifles and needless to say it was very disappointing. I spent hours on hold only to be hung up on, and when I did get ahold of someone, they had no idea what I was talking about. I was told to call back a few days later and asked for an extension number because of the horrible phone answering problem that I had. The reason I asked is because they have a phone extension as one as your options when you call. I called back a few days later and got ahold of a gentleman that did know something about the Ember and said they had 6 of them at their facility. I give him my number and he was to call me back when he found out more about my inquiry. I never heard back from him, so I tried calling again and got the same problems getting to talk to someone. I finally got ahold of a lady that did some investigation while I was on hold and was told that the 6 guns at their facility were for demo and gun shows only. I was told that they did not know when the Ember was going to be released in the U.S. but maybe after mid-year 2022. I told the lady that the rifles have been available in Canada and the U.K. since early 2021 what could be the hold up to the U.S? I took 2 weeks to get this information and will tell you I have a poor opinion about Tikka rifles and the company that imports them. This is why you need more than one company that imports to the U.S. for a business.
This is the Distributor for the U.S. give them a call and see if you get better results than I did.

I have had the same experience with Beretta….cannot get thru to anyone there and when and if you do they know nothing. I even wrote/emailed the company in Finland and never got a response. I am looking for the EMBER in a 300WM but can’t get any answer anywhere. Just bad customer service

It is not Tikka but Beretta customer service…it is awful……can’t get a answer out of them even if you can get through
