TIKKA M65 338 WIN MAG – NEED TIKKA OWNER EXPERTISE
Hi, I am in Canada – just purchased a beautiful condition, M65 338 Win Mag, left hand model.
I have been unable to get any information ( including from Beretta customer service) and would like to know the following:
Manufacture Date – my serial number is 650-935xx
338 Win Mag magazines – are they interchangeable with any others?
Why is there no reference to M65 (or M695 for that matter) 338 Win Mag in the old model Tikka product & Specification Sheets?. 338 Win Mag is clearly marked on the gun, as well as Tikka M65.
By surfing I have noticed that there have been some sales of M65 win mag on the net in the past, but they seem rare and far between. -

It's pretty hard to get any information on any Tikka M55 or M65 models. My understanding is here in the US any of those models were sold as Ithaca Lsa-55's or Ithaca Lsa-65's. I do have a Tikka M55 Continental Deluxe Heavy barrel in .222 that I got off an auction but other than that I can't help you out! You might give Ron Sharp a call at Sharp's Guns Ltd. in Ontario, Canada, I bought a couple magazines from him. Also Sako Collecter's website and look under Valmet and Tikka!
