Tikka aftermarket stocks
Posted by Boer Boel on March 13, 2013 at 11:19 amI was checking out on hear a video where a fellow was installing a Jard trigger and mods to his bolt. He replaced the stock with a laminate thumbhole stock on rifle also. I was wondering if this stock is offered for sale somewhere?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but is this what your talking about? Tikka T3 Thumbhole Tactical by Helmick Arms? http://www.helmickarms.com/

Definitely do not do business with Helmick Arms!
This guy took over 20 of our customer's money and never delivered any stocks. He has disappeared. Even the Sheriff in his little town could not track him down.
My guess is he took off for the oil fields.
He owes people in Australia over 50 stocks.
Beware of Chad Helmick!

HOLY CRAP Jason! I never heard that!!!
That really bites…
Yep, Micky A3 will work nicely. Faster working the bolt, too.

Yeah… That's the kind of thing that steals my time away from doing fun things like getting new content on the site!
We are in the final stages of designing our own stocks in the same price range. Here's a picture of my 338 in prototype skin

Very good info to know. Nice 338! How did so much snow build up on the scope rings? I have a m695 in 338wm and I love it

It was dumping snow that day and I had a hard time keeping the optic clear.
Great MT winter day!

Jason-that's a great looking stock! I'd like to see the bottom of the forend rounded more where it comes up to the barrel (forend tip). It looks too square to me.
Just a little feedback…it's only worth what you paid for it. ;D

Funny you should mention that. We “softened” the fore stock since the square cut was a little too harsh.
It was easier to machine though ::)

I am not sure if that is the same stock i am talking about. I have been looking at a lot of the laminate stocks but i think they are going to be heavier than what i want. I walk and hike alot varmint hunting so i want to keep the weight down. Has anyone used the B&C stock for the T3 sporters? I did see a laminate stock that is real nice and not as bulky on show your Tikka,s called a KKC stock. Anyone know anything about these?
