Tikka 73gr ELD-M Velocity
Posted by fullbore on July 29, 2018 at 10:25 amHello
Ive just done my first lot of testing the 73gr ELD-M in my t3x stainless varmint .223
Was loading 24gr of varget in ADI brass with cci 400 primers and could only average a velocity of 2791fps which going by other people's load data is slow. Anyone here have any load data with these projectiles? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time

I’ve no data on this bullet , but has for your concern about the speed , don’t worry about others speed or accuracy if you haven’t seen it yourself , a lot of people load way too hot just to brag about speed , has long has you are happy and it’s doing the job you intended for it to do don’t worry

Thanks for the ingo mate. Its looking like ill be looking for another projectile anyway as down here in Australia it seems to be hard to find any 22 cal ELDM's atm. Have seen a special on the 80.5gr Berger Fullbores. Might give them a go

Bergers are very good I shoot 52target out of my tikka, the reasons why I started shooting them is there normally a£ or two more than other billets so there’s less chance of them selling out some people are very tight/ careful with there money here in Yorkshire , , you could if you can get them try nosler ether custom com or rdf I use the custom coms in my creedmoor ,
