T3x laminate stainless
Hello everyone. New to the forum and have been lookin into a Tikka for my first bolt action. Anyone have one of these? Was wondering what the barrel contour is and would you consider it to be an acceptable target shooter or more of a hunting gun. I have been contemplating the CTR as well but the $100+ magazine prices are kind of a turn off.
Not looking to compete just some target shooting out to about 500 yards or so. Still trying to decide between 308 and 6.5 as well.

Hi if your only target shooting I'd go for the cts has it has a thicket barrel and would alow you to shoot more shots between cooling , and for the caliber it has to be 6.5 , the .308 are fine but for me the 6.5 is more refined
