T3 vs T3X
Ive had several T3's in the past, and wanr to get another, but cant find it in the configuration I want. I did, however, find what i was looking for in a T3X.
I'm not familiar with the T3X, and really didnt want them to fix what wasnt broken, but am thinking of giving one a try.
I had a couple questions to you guys who have owned both….is there any accuracy differences between the two? I know the T3X has a bigger ejection port…dies that affect accuracy?
Does the T3X gave the same excellent barrel quality Ive found on my regular T3's?
Also, is the trigger assembly identical between the two? If not, is the T3X's trigger up to par with the excellent T3 trigger?

The T3 is a great rifle, Accurate and reliable out of the box. That said, the updates to the Tikka T3X are welcomed changes, and did not affect the quality or performance of the rifle. Upgrading the materials of parts such as the recoil lug and the bolt shroud, were needed improvements.
You will not notice a quality or accuracy difference on the T3X, and the barrels/triggers appear identical.
