T3 Varmint 270 Loads
Howdy all,
This is my first post on the forum and whilst I've done plenty of shooting, I've only just started doing some reloading.
I have just bought a T3 Varmint in a .270 and am wanting to run a couple of different loads for various applications. Basically, this is going to be my go to gun for pretty much everything. I have just got rid of my .223 because it was just not able to deal effectively with the bigger game. It was great for the smaller varmints but I have a 17HMR that bowls them over with ease as long as it's not too windy.
At any rate, I'm looking at running a 110gr V-Max for smaller game/varmints and a 150gr SST for larger animals. I'm wondering if there is a powder you'd recommend for running both projectiles or if I'd be better off with two different ones, and if anyone had some load data that I could use as a starting point for each one that'd be great.
I'm not a target shooter other than using the range for practice and a bit of fun but obviously the more accurate and consistent the load the better.
Cheers,
MM.
