T3 varmind stainless 25-06 , is it ammo picky ?
Hi. I just got this rifle…. it looks very nice , I would like to know from someone how has also one please, if it can shoot light bullet as well as heavier bullet ? a 90g versus a 150 g. will it stabilize the light bullet ? the rifling is 1 rifle per 10″.
also what is your favorite commercial ammo with your gun , and why please?
what do you think of the Barnes 100g TTSX ? it looks like a great bullet with fast expension and maintain its weight ?

I had my best groupings with the Hornady 117gr SST. The Superformance version of the 117 SST wasn't as good but I think it's more of the barrel heat-up.

Don't have a Tikka in 25-06… (yet), but do have the 25-06 in a Sako and a couple of Rugers. I don't shoot any factory stuff… but I have been getting my best accuracy with the 100 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips. Tried some 120's (Hornandy) but I didn't get the accuracy of the 100 grain bullets. My buddy swears that his rifle will only shoot the 120's accurately.
The TTSX should be a BOMB in the 25-06!!! No worries at all with that bullet!
