T3 Super Varmint Rail screw?

Hi All,

I just purchased a second hand Super Varmint in .223.

The picatinny rail has a screw that is unable to be screwed all the way in…. is that normal?

Its the last screw right at the end toward the muzzle.

its used to attach a “mirage shield”….chances are you will never need it if you didn't know what it was.
Just remove and store it.
