T3 Sporter range report
I just picked up my T3 Sporter in 6.5×55 this week. I got it from Euro Optic. I loaded some new Lapua brass with no case prep, just load and go shoot. Seated the Sierra 142's .020 off the lands. Man, the bullets were barely in the case! But the magazine was just barely long enough to accept these loads. Here is a picture of five 4 shot groups at 100 yards, each group varied by .5 grains of H4831SC. I think it did pretty good. The smallest group was in the .3's and the largest was a little over .5. Now that the brass is fire formed I will try it again and see what happens.

48g looks great with almost no vertical stringing. What were the es/sd like?

I do not have a chronograph so I will experiment a little more between 47.5 – 48.0 for accuracy and then drop test the best load at distance to get a velocity to plug into my ballistic calculator. I like this rifle so much I just bought another one in .223. I will definitely be needing your new OEM replacement mags (.223) that will allow longer over all cartridge length. Please keep us posted on the new magazine availability.
