T3 Recoil lug…should I bed into wood stock?
Picked up a new T3 300 win mag for hunting season this year (Mule Deer). With a box and a half of ammo through it (sighting in and hunting), there was a very noticable dent in the aluminum recoil lug. So I replaced with a steel lug. It sits what seems to be fairly loosely in the wood stock. My question is, I don't want to do a full bed job, but should I just bed the lug into the wood stock and eliminate the play?
