Posted by Colike on December 4, 2014 at 5:39 amLost my bolt release lever for my T3 30-06 in shipping.
Still have the pin.
How can I get a new one?

You'll need both the lever AND the spring, which allows the lever to rock back and forth.
If all else fails, I think I have one. See what Robert comes up with.

Interestingly, I found a German source for the bolt stop… Roedale Precision. It only costs 25 euros ($31) for the part and 40 euors ($50) shipping. Yeesh!

The part I have is from Brownells, and I paid about $68 plus shipping.

This might be your best bet.

This doesn't seem to be a hard item to mill, would your gunsmith or a machinist friend be able to reproduce one if you had the dimensions? The tolerances should not be critical if you are ok with non production parts.
I could press mine in wax or something if you needed the basic dimentions.
Otherwise Rodale seems to be a good source. -

Thanks for the offer, really appreciate it. I don't know any machinests, but may get back to you. Robert says he plans to make a run of these in February an sell them on this site, so I'll wait for him and start on my Mauser 300 Win Mag project in the meantime. Will contact you if he abandons the bolt stop project.

Brownells has them on their site right now. I just bought a kit a week ago.
