T-3 LITE .223 TWIST
Hi If I look at a 223 t3-lite for example on CHEAPER THAN DIRT they list the twist rate as 1-10 the Tikka site lists 1-8 & 1-12. I'm looking for a T-3 LITE in 1-8 but most I see on GB don't even list a twist rate. CONFUSED!

Beretta has recently switched the twist rate on new Tikka .223's to 10 twist. The older ones (prior to last year) are 1 in 8.

My T3 Lite .223 was an 8 twist and a phenomenal shooter. I just traded it for a CZ carbine in 7.62×39. The only reason I swapped was because I always was grabbing an AR when I intended to shoot .223. If you can find an 8 twist, snatch it up. Great shooters.

I had a T3 VARMINT with the 1-8 twist and there was nothing great about that one. I just found a used T3 LITE in 1-8 and thinking about trying one more time.
