SWEETHEART LOAD for .223 T3 Lite
This is the one for me . On several occasions where there was almost no wind which is a very rare occurance where I live , I have got this load to shoot .250 and under at 100 yds. from my T3 Lite stainless shooting the Hornady #2270 60 gr. softpoint behind 25.0 grs. of H4895 ignited by Federal GM205M primers in Remington brass trimmed 1.750 and the bullet just kissing the lands with an average OAL of 2.2920 is the trick for me. These barely fit in my magazine but will feed all 4 rounds without fail . They clock 2,820 fps 10 ft. from the muzzle and although not the fastest horse in the barn with accuracy like this I could care less . On 3 occasions the 5 shot groups broke the .200 inch mark with the smallest being .186 1nches . The only modification to the stock rifle was to lightly file the trigger adjustment screw to drop my trigger pull to a clean and crisp 2 lbs. I love this rifle and have a couple of other loads that do a solid sub 1/2 inch group and thought that was good enough until I happened upon this one .
