Stock mod
I have a ctr and want to get a mAnners soon but it's on hold for now til I get new scope. Can I add fiberglass to the plastic stock to modify it? Yes it may be a dumb question but I don't know. I'm not a fan of a thin hollow stock.

There is a really nice article on the Long Range Hunter forum on building a low cost long range rifle from a Savage where the guy makes significant mods to the injection molded stock. I don't remember the exact name of the article but you can find it if you search the articles index.
