Stabilizing the 70g .224 barnes tsx
So it's about time to do a little pig control and I was needing some information. My tikka T3 varmint in 223rem is hands down the most accurate thing I could ever hope for and I want to take it with me on the upcoming hog hunt but I need some load help. I have the 24in 8 twist heavy contour barrel and I know it will keep the 75g A-MAX and 80g VLD inside a dime but my co-hunter on this trip has given up on the X bullet. He was unable to get the 70g pills to stabilize in his AR-15 with a 7 twist 16in barrel even with a stout load of h335. He has since backed down to the 60g nosler partition and suggests i do the same but there is just something about that TSX that continues to sing a siren song to me. Any hands on experience would be appreciated.
