Scope Rings
Posted by ShtrRdy on January 29, 2012 at 5:35 amIf I want to get a set of mid height scope rings to fit directly on the T3 dovetail, what options do I have? Is there an optilock model that would do this?

The OptiLocks are the only solution without putting another mount on the gun. I haven't put them in the store yet but have most of them in stock.
Let me what you're looking for and I'll get it out to you.

Thanks for the info Jason. I may take a different approach. Using a scope with a smaller Objective.
Can you tell me how much a pair of medium height Optilock rings are?
Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd,
Medium height Optilocks go for between $60-$98 depending on 1 inch/30mm/ss/or blue.
We just got some Warne rings in that look incredibly strong. $45 for standard and $80 for QD.
Personally I like our Picatinny rail and a set of EGW or Warne tactical rings. The rail give you more diversity in mounting, but adds one more piece to the equation.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the info Jason! I might be doing some scope switching around on my rifles to make use of a 42mm objective which might fit with the Tikka standard rings. I'll let you know if I decide to order some. – Todd

Doesn't Warne make a ring for Tikka? I will have to see if I can find some info on their site.
EDIT: After going back and reading ALL of Jason's post I saw where he said he just got in some of the Warne rings.
