Scope ring help
I need advice on ring height. Vortex Viper HS 2.5-10×44 30mm tube, to be mounted on T3 lite .308. I want to use Leupold std bases and rings. Will low rings allow the scope to contact the barrel. This will be a deer hunting rifle.

My gut feeling says this will work, but you'll need to get the dimensions of the Leupold base and rings to verify the dimensions.

You're probably ok with this set up. I've got a Viper HS 6-24x50mm with lows, but on a rail, and it doesn't come near the barrel. I'm on Vortex Tactical low rings.
