Same rifle new accessories
While everything was down waiting on the new rings I went back and separated my action/barrel from the stock again and opened up the stock a bit more just to make sure there wasn't any touching once things warmed up. I put it back together and re-torqued the action. Once the base and rings came in I got those mounted up and torqued to spec as well. The new equipment is as listed: EGW HD 0moa base, Warne Tactical steel rings, and a Swarovski 6-18x50BT scope.
This is a 5 shot group at 100yrs off of the bipod and a rear bag. The farthest shot to the left was me botching the trigger pull most likely on the third shot. The 4th and 5th shots fell right back into the same holes as the 1st and 2nd. To keep things close to the same other than the equipment change this group was produced with the same Federal 150gr soft point ammo I was using before. Also note that the group was the last group fired out of 15rds. I adjusted the elevation turret full up to a soft stop and returned it to the zero stop before firing it as well to check tracking of the ballistic turret.
