Rifle too Heavy for F Class
Posted by 260RemsAlot on December 6, 2017 at 6:55 pmHi everyone,
Just received my custom Tikka back from the gunsmith a couple weeks ago. I mostly wanted this gun for long range shooting and hunting, but a small part of the reason I wanted it was to enter my first local F Class competition. The problem however is the rifle is far too heavy to compete with, according to what I have seen on the internet.
Does anyone with F Class competition experience know if they would still let me shoot without actually competing? I wouldn't mind just going to see what it's like and being around other shooters.
Thanks for the help!

Clubs near me let anybody shoot any comp with any rifle , you will not get placed if your rifles out of spec but you can see where you would have come in the standings , you just have to help when your not shooting , like taking your turn in the buts etc

Thanks man. That's good to hear. I'm definitely willing to help, just wanted to get a taste of what it's like. Would you say that's pretty universal? I live in Midwestern United States so hopefully these matches are that generous.
Thanks for the straightforward reply by the way ; ) haha.

Awesome thanks! I really hope they don't mind. Haha I just hope I can hang with the rest of the shooters but I know my Tikka is up to the challenge!
