Reccommended scope rings for Zeiss Duralyt 3x12x50
My son recently bought a Tikka in 30-06 caliber. He ordered the Zeiss scope and took it to Gander Mt for mounting and bore sighting. After having it for a month he called and they still had not worked on it. I then tried to mount it but found the factory rings won't work, apparently made for a 1 inch tube.
Sooo. I'm guessing 30mm ? Weaver ? Ruger ? Whats the setup for this scope ? Will 30mm rings fir the mounting plate on the Tikka without screwing with anything else. I'll probably be putting it on since he's disgusted with Gander. This gun and scope is a little out of my league since I'm used to 1 inch tubes and Tasco scopes but I'll give it a shot. Any suggestions ? 🙂 -

Warne rings at warnescopemounts.com They even fit the Tikka grooves. No need to buy a base; less parts; less weight; less money. They have a Quick Detach model which is what I have on my T3. Never loses zero when removing and reinstalling. Very easy and very solid. I think I paid $60 for 'em at cheaperthandirt.com.

Another suggestion would be Talley Lightweight One Piece rings. The “Lows” will still work with your 30mm tube.
