Question about the T3x stock.
First off, I am a brand new hunter at 35 years old so be nice, lol. I am going on a caribou hunt up here in Alaska, where I live. I am picking up a T3x tomorrow while it's on sale for 699.99. After researching for months, this gun seems like the best fit for me up here. My question is, I'm having a hard time finding aftermarket stocks for this rifle. Unless the T3x uses the same stock as the t3, because I have seen plenty for the t3. Does it use the same stock as another model, or is there some reason why there isn't aftermarket stocks for the T3x? Thanks in advance, and if this is a stupid question, I apologize.

The stocks for the T3 will fit the T3x , and by the way welcome ,

Leave it alone. There is no advantage to changing the stock at this point. Make sure scope is mounted properly and action screws are proper tightness. It will shoot very accurate as long as you do your part.

If you are looking to step up from the factory stock either the McMillan Sako Hunter or the Manners EHT are good choices.

You could try the Bell and Carlson T3 stock for about $280….some don't like it compared to Manners or McMillian but the stock is half the price or even less. I didn't get the best results from this stock until I bedded the rifle. Now the gun is truly half-MOA at 100, 200, and 300 yards.
For a really cheap route, just upgrade the recoil lug from MT and get a limbsaver pad and the plastic stock might work just fine for you.
