Proven factory ammo for 7RM Super Lite
Posted by Mr Drysdale on April 12, 2016 at 1:16 amI have just acquired a new T3 Super Lite in 7RM. I am breaking in the barrel with an array of loaded ammo left over from a previous rifle. I am inquiring about any proven factory ammo currently being used by the members of this forum. Accuracy and performance. I will mainly be hunting Whitetails within 300 yards. Leupold 4.5 X 14 X 40 VX3 mounted in DNZ Game Reaper mount. As expensive as ammo is I would like to start with someone else's experience. I do not reload. All replies appreciated.

Welcome and nice rig and I like the DNZ mounts !
I have never owned a 7RM so can't help there but imagine it kicks a bit in the super light. For deer, the lighter bullets should be effective and reduce recoil. -

For deer, the lighter bullets should be effective and reduce recoil.I replaced the factory butt pad with a Limb Saver Ait Tech and it really is not bad. I am not very recoil sensitive as I mount scopes and sight rifles as a hobby/past time for my friends.

Well the Federal 140 grain Partitions will not work. First group was 2.5 inches. Second group was 2.75. Wanted these to work as I like the Federal ammo and the Partition bullets.
