New(old) Tikka LSA 65 30-06. Scoped, now for a load….
I recently acquired a nice old LSA-65 in 30-06. The rifle appears in nice shape and looks like it has seen very little use in the last 40 or so years.
Today I looked in my selection of rings and found a set that will work fine for the Finnish beauty. I scoped it with a U.S. OPTICS fixed 10x, with a custom moa reticle that I have had awaiting an accurate rifle to take advantage of its capabilities as a long range optic.
Now I just need to scrounge up some brass and dies. I am thinking of starting out with some 185 grain Lapua Scenars. Those have a good track record in the LR department.
Gotta get some pics taken too I guess..
