I'm a newbie to the tikka brand of guns. I picked up a T3 lite 22-250 in stainless. Been doing some homework on scopes now and leaning towards a VX-3.

Welcome to the forum. VX3 is a good way to go. Look into some Talley Lightweight one piece rings and you should be set.
