New Tikka owner/shooter
Hi, my name is J.P. (short for Patrick), just got my first Tikka a couple of weeks ago. T3 Light in .22-250 stainless.
Finally got the rings I wanted and mounted a scope (Nikon Coyote Special) and got it out yesterday and sighted in. Still need to try some various types of ammo but I can see it's going to be a good shooter.
I've owned numerous .22 rimfires, have a custom built 10/22 (Kidd) that I put together a few years ago. I also like .22 rimfire handguns as well as .357 and 9mm. I'm MV213 on Rimfirecentral also, as well as ebay, garagejournal.com and audiokarma.org and classicoldsmobile.com I usually end up mostly lurking but occasionally post. I find I learn more by reading than talking! 😉
If anybody is interested I did put up a new Tikka performance picatinny rail and rings on ebay. Not trying to make any money on this stuff, just don't need it laying around.

I think you will be happy with your new rifle – should be strong medicine for coyotes!I also read and post on rimfire central (mostly watch the 17 WSM and HMR threads).
There is a lot of good information on this site and Mountain Tactical is a great source for all things Tikka. See you around and good shooting!
