New T3X with bad barrel
Last friday I picked up a new T3X 270 wsm and cleaned before shooting and noticed what appeared to
be 100s of horizontal tooling marks in the barrel, It looked as if someone had taken a very long rod wrapped with sandpaper and spun it down the barrel with power tools. I was skeptical but cleaned it and tried shooting it. After 1 round the barrel was extremely coppered, it took hours to get the copper out.
Being a glutten for punishment I kept up this routine all week.
I have a hunt coming up within 2 weeks so I took it back to the dealer and they called Beretta and they said thats not possible with forged barrels.
The dealer ordered another one for me and will work out the details after they return the gun to beretta.
I own other Tikkas and I didnt think you could buy a lemon but if they do not treat me fairly I'll never
buy another.

Another degrading example of Beretta's claim that all Tikka's are test fired for MOA group before they leave the factory….makes you wondering about their credibility…

Tikka´s ARE indeed test fired at the factory. Atleast those for the Nordic and European market. Seen that myself while at the factory.
That said your issue is unacceptable and a clear warranty claim.
