howdy to all tikka owners out there. I'm a 67 ole guy that like to buy great rifles.
I sold all my rifles and just starting to buy some more!
well, at this time I'm buying a new tikks t3 243 cal with a wooden stock.
I had seen this rifle in my local pawnshop. the rifle is new, butt the pawnshop personnel
had mess-up the wooden stock near the left grip. so, I got a $200.00 off from the cost
of the rifle. the cost was $700.00 butt with the stock mess-up, I got it for $500.00
great for me, I put $110.00 on layaway. before I put money down to buy the t3, I did
my homework about this rifle and the company that had made it.
tikka is made by sako, sako is owned by beretta..
some people on the internet sites said that not to buy Winchester ammo.
I have a Nichols grandslam 6.5-20×45 scope that I will put on the rifle.
can't wait to get her home, set-up with the scope. -

Hi first thing to check is the barrel full floated all the way to the action , and change the recoil lug for a st/steel one , and most important have fun

thanks larkin, I will check if the recoil lug is steel.
by the way, do you know of anybody that has any scope rings to fit the t3 rifle?
also how much for a used scope base for it? thanks jimmy -
