Took this 8 pointer last week at about 275yrds…did not have the greatest angle for a shot but he went down quick..he only took 1 step and fell over.  Thank god he went down where I shot him because it was a nasty swamp we had to drag him out of.

Field dressed at just over 220lbs…Our group guessed its a 5+ year old deer so he's out of his prime, would have loved to have seen him a couple of years ago.  None the less, I was super stoked to be able to get such a great deer this year.  We just missed placing in the top 3 at one of the Big Buck contest…Another notch on my 300wsm!  I love this gun!
