For those running the 300 Win Mag with the CDI bottom metal.
I get a hard time stripping rounds from the magazine and into the chamber.
The rounds are so long, they bind. Solution was to machine back some of the feed lips so they release earlier, similar to the T3 polymer mag. -

This has been covered elsewhere on the forum. The solution there was to bend the lips to allow the rounds to sit up at the front, which allows them to feed into the chamber. Same end result, different method. Pleased you worked it out.
