Model 695
I have found a model 695 in 7 mag with a beautiful piece of wood. I was wondering do these rifles have free floated barrels and can a recoil pad be bought that will fit the stock without modification.

I sware looking at the pictures of this 695 it does not appear to be drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Surely it is.

After further inspection and a phone call the rifle turned out to be a 658 and it is not drilled and tapped. I think I may pass on it.
