Low-pro magazine for CTR?
Posted by Nick Anderson on February 25, 2016 at 3:57 pmI recently got a CTR in .260 and while I love it, I don't always love the magazine. I bought it for a truck gun and the magazine is tearing up the seat in my truck because of the sharp edges – I keep it barrel down on my right hand side, wedged between the driver's seat and the center seat. SO, I'm looking for replacement plastic magazine, like the Beretta flush mounts. Unfortunately, I don't see the 260 listed in their magazines unless I go to their CTR magazine that's not going to suit my needs.
Anyone know where, or IF, I can find a low-pro magazine? All I really need is 3 rounds when I'm driving around.
Thanks, in advance!

Jason,
Will you be selling these in the store? Price?
I need a smaller capacity mag for my 308… -

Hi Dog
Pricing won't be cheap retail is $150 – same as the 10 rounders – and they will be on the site. I'm waiting until they are in my hands so we don't end up with a back order situation

Thanks Jason. I'll keep an eye out for them. That price is crazy, though. What is the deal with the mags for the CTR and TRG? I'm mean, what makes them so proud of these things? It's cheaper than seat repair; but….DANG, that's stupid expensive. Like ALL of these mags.
Wish they made a polymer 5 round without those stupid posts sticking out the sides of the magazine. Those posts are what cause the most damage to my seats and they don't do anything for me anyway.

I agree. These are cheaper than the TRG mags, but still more expensive than they should be.
My ultimate goal is to create a conversion package that will allow shooters to use AICS mags. The new MagPuls are only $40 for a 5 round mag. The 10 rounders should be between $50-$60.
The CTR mags are great, but I'm not sure they're 3-4 times the price good.

So the “Low-pro” mag was a bust. It was advertised as a 5 round and flush mounted…
It's just a standard CTR Mag with a block in it to limit the number of rounds that can be loaded…
Too bad I can't send them back!
