Light strike / uk importer
Hi just I’d say how well I’ve been treated by the uk importer , about a year ago I started shooting comps will my Tikka so started to use Cci Br primers , I started to get light strikes being fine on normal primer I was blaming the Br primers , in the meantime I decidered to get a new barrel fitted ( photos to follow ), here in England if you get a new barrel fitted its sent to a proof house to make sure it’s safe , Mine failed it didn’t fire because it was light striking , my gunsmith phoned Gmk the importer here in England , remember the rifles 5 year old and over 5000+ round , said they was a problem with some firing pin assembly’s and a new one will be in the post free of charge , just thought I’d post this because sometimes importers are not has helpful

Larkin, light strikes are hard to diagnose. My 25-06 ruger was blowing primers on loads that made no sense
. It turned out to be a defective – weak fireing spring. The point is that my symptoms were blown primers and you might benifit from a new firing spring.
