Last round does not feed from magazine.
Hello. I'm new to Tikka and new to this forum. I finally took out my Tikka T3 Tactical out to the range. The rifle shot great! I sighted it in with some PPU stuff and then tried to shoot for groups with some Hornady TAP. Needless to say I am impressed with the way it shoots! Trigger is great!
One issue though…the last round from the mag would not feed. I'd have to sort of push it forward with my fingers. It did not matter if I loaded the mag with for or five rounds. My guess is a bad mag??? Spring in the mag feels kind of weak??? Any advice the herd could give me is appreciated. My hunch is I should try a different mag.

Trying another mag is an option.
Is the one you are using slammed in tight?
It sounds like the last round is not coming up high enough for the bolt to grab it. Take the follower out, and check the underside of the feed lips for anything out of place. you might have to machine a little bit off on the underside to make a little room for the cartridge to feed higher.

Thanks yukonal! What you describe is exactly what is going on. Hopefully I'll get back to the range this weekend and get to give this thing another go.
