I think most people just us social media nowadays ,I think a lot of people use the forum to get answers to problems/questions without joining , I normally have a look on here on a night while I’m at work lol

I'm new and intend to start posting more. My .223 T3 Lite has become my favorite rifle and just acquired a T3 stainless varmint in .223. I have other rifles that are a little more accurate but I love the simplicity and attention to correct machining of the action. I am in Southeast Missouri after having left Illinois. Missouri, if anything, is a firearm friendly state and us heavily armed rural folks manage to not shoot each other (excludes K.C and St Louis). I hand-load for 6 calibers and was bit by the accuracy bug 23 years ago. Looking forward to future interactions here….

IMO – Not many of the brand-unique forums, e.g., Beretta, Remington, Mossberg, SigArms, etc., do well as a standalone but persevere on sub-forms, e.g., Snipers Hide, AR15.COM, 1911.COM, etc.

I will say why I kind of strayed…
I was keen on accurate shooting and got enticed by the AR community…I built an ar 308 style in 6.5 creedmoor that will shoot .35 at 100 yds. I also built a .223 Wilde that does ok and finally I built an awesome 300 blackout pistol using Thordsons recoil group that was so crazy fun with my 30 cal suppressor that I got lazy about the real important stuff which is accurate guns are interesting guns
Then Tikka came out with the rimfire and I saw it in Scheels in Fargo ND and bought the 17 hmr for cash.
I put it in a stock from my 6.5×55 sporter and will post picks because it is so pretty. After the t-1 I got nostalgic about my time at Tikka.com and I regret I was gone so long
Feel free to contact me about questions I might be able to answer
Always remember … Tikka’s are great and may be the best value for dollar you can find… regardless of your application.
The link to the pic folows it is a pick of my Tikka T1 in my T3 Sporter stock that I had available because I hat the 6.5×55 original Tikka in a berserk stock. I think I have the best looking Tikka T1 I have seen.https://i.imgur.com/Kc46mmb.jpg

Ericbc7 – You're not married, are you? Or do you have a hideaway for new firearms? My wife gets suspicious anything I rearrange weapons in the gun-safes. She assumes I'm making room for a new purchase. 😉

One of the advantages of Uk gun law is since our lass dosn't have a fac she cannot have access to the gun safe , if I need another rifle I just take two gun bags out but only one with a rifle , return home with a rifle in each bag , also most times on a Saturday when I’ve been to the range she’s at work , so the rifles are cleaned and put away before she get home
