JLK 65 gr ld
Hi guys,gals
I have a bunch of JLK 65 gr LD bullets on hand (over 1k that I got from an estate sale) and was planning to do load development after I did load development on my 75 gr A-Maxs. My real life schedule is getting hectic so I want to do some loading in advance. So…in addition to trying Berger 80.5s in place of 75 gr A-maxs, I want to try loads for the JLK's. I have several powders including h322, IMR 4166, Varget, and H4895 and more. My question is where should I start? I want to preload a bunch so I can take advantage of weather and schedule. My plans are to follow my last load testing basically. Any experience you have will be greately appreciated. My biggest concern is that I don't have enough once fired brass. I have 200 unfired ww brass but am concerned that my pressures won't be representative if I compare them with 2x fired of the same.
By the way this is regarding my T3 Sporter in .223
