Hard bolt lift after dry firing? (Does everything look right? – pics included)
I have a brand new t3 hunter (not shot yet). While working through some dry firing, I noticed the bolt lift is hard, harder than my 700. I wouldn't use the term “gritty”, but my 700 is smooth while the tikka you can feel the metal rub.
Ive asked in other forums, and was told to grease the ramp, which I did (and it did help marginally), but it's still not as smooth as I would prefer. Is there something else I can do, or is it just the nature of a tikka?
I was told the chamfer on the ramp and the detent slot look “off”, but Im not sure I buy that without seeing pics showing otherwise.
Thanks for any help
