Great New Book – Long Range Shooting
Posted by J on January 8, 2016 at 1:57 pmGreat new book out by Nathan Foster from New Zealand that I strongly recommend to all shooters, especially hunters. This book will make you a better shot. I have nothing to gain from promoting this book, I got one from my wife for Christmas and I'm so impressed I thought I would share.
If you shoot with the crossed arm technique you may not like it unless you are willing to learn.
The book is titled LONG RANGE SHOOTING – THE ART OF A CLEAN KILL BY NATHAN FOSTER.
Have a look at his website too http://www.ballisticstudies.com/

This should be a great book from a guy who actually shoots guns…a wealth of knowledge here.
Well worth the read or purchase for any of his Long range books. -
so um… where would one go about finding said book? doesn't seem to be available here in the great white north.

Its not posted on his web store…so not sure.

I tried googlin' the book and author but couldn't find anyone selling it. A few reviews but nothing to point a direction where one can get it.

My dogs woke me up in the middle of the night so I thought I'd dig around on the interwebs at 0320 and find this for you.

Thank you! Greatly appreciated.
Not exactly the same book but a good list or resources for everyone. -
It's the same book that the OP mentioned. He actually linked directly to the main page, the link I posted is basically just the shop page for the main site, and has this and several of his other books listed as well.
Hope this helped. I wanted to be able to find it on Amazon, but sadly, the one mentioned isn't available there, though a couple others are.

Nathan Foster certainly knows what he's talking about whether it's rifle maintainence, shooting techniques, bedding and accurising, terminal ballistics or reloading. He has dedicated his life to this stuff and writes in a no nonsense style that is easy to follow. I recommend all of his books to any serious shooter; they are an investment that will make you and your kit better.
