Fussy About Reloads
A heads-up for those of you who buy inexpensive factory ammo made with brass cases that have been reused. Chances are, you will have problems chambering them in a Tikka. I had big trouble with Prvi Partizan .243 ammo and had to send back ten boxes. Nine of thirty rounds of Aguila 55 grain .223 ammo would not chamber (bolt would not close normally), and a few rounds of Fiocchi 40 and 50 grain VMAX were sticky.
I bought 300 once-fired Remington .243 cases from a reputable firm. None of them would chamber in my Tikka .243 without full length sizing.
If you don't reload, I strongly recommend using factory ammunition that's manufactured with factory new cases. If you do reload, be smarter than I was and full-length size.
