I'm new to the site. Own two Tikka love them. Both shoot amazing.
Getting ready for my 13 yr old cow elk hunt and at the range my 7mm-08 starts putting tiny dimples on the primer and not firing. 
I assume my handloads were goofed up. Bought a factory box. Same issue.
Broke bolt down spring is good. Pin extrudes through bolt .07  Plenty. Can't see any obstructions.
Sprayed with brake cleaner. Light oil on spring.
Loaded brass with primer only.  And it's 50/50 to fire.

Put my 243 bolt in. No issue.

Should I just buy a new firing pin assembly? 
I read a thread on here with same problem but the guy never said how it got fixed.
